COVID-19 Safety Measures
Currently we recommend but do not require masks. Sanitizers & masks are available at LSA if needed. This policy is subject to change based on outbreaks and recommendations from local health organizations.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off Procedures
We require that students be signed in at drop-off and signed out at pickup. We ask that you verify your emergency contact information and review the approved pickup adults on the first day at sign in.
Many of our students live in the neighborhood and walk to LSA independently. In these instances, we require written consent from a parent or guardian allowing the child to leave the premises alone. Students under the age of 8 will NEVER be allowed to leave LSA without a parent or guardian.
Medications
For children with any medical supplies like inhalers or epi pens, please show the front desk attendant where those items can be found. If your child has any other health needs that may need to be addressed during the day, please make these things known to the front desk attendant as well.
Safety
While we love and feel safe in our neighborhood, however to ensure the safety of all of our young students, we keep doors locked while camps are in session. No visitors without an appointment are allowed in the building. If you arrive late and the door is locked, please ring our doorbell and a staff member will help you.
Food & Drink
For our two hour per day camps, we ask that students be sent to LSA with water and a snack. For our all day camps, we ask that students be sent to LSA with adequate water for the day, a snack, and a packed lunch.
For packed lunches and snacks, we ask that you please avoid foods that are common allergies, such as nuts.
Parking
Street parking is available around LSA in addition to permit only parking. You are more than welcome to put a schedule (located at the front door) on your dashboard if you will be there longer than dropping off your child. Parking enforcement is aware of our organization and usually ignores LSA visitors and students.
